Order Confirmation & Tracking
After placing your order, you will receive an order confirmation via email. A tracking number will be created once the package has been put together and ready for shipment (we ship Monday through Wednesday). If you do not receive your tracking number, please contact us at (412)391-4238 ext. 1 or log into your account to check if the tracking number has been updated.
All of our dry cured products and salami are shelf stable, can be stored at room temperature and do not require refrigeration. We do our best to ensure our product is shipped and delivered as quickly as possible to you. During the summer months, we recommend refrigerating the product once it is received for at least an hour. It will help bring the product back to its normal firmness. Do not be alarmed if you receive product without insulation or ice packs, since they can withstand change in temperatures during transit. Based on transit time, we will decide if a package needs insulation and ice packs due to longer travel times, to ensure quality.
Our Return Policy:
All perishable food orders are final.
We can not be held responsible for any package that is left outside of the recipient's address.
We can not be held responsible if a package is delayed due to an address error that was entered by the purchaser.
The recipient must be available at the end of the day of delivery to make certain the package is not left outside overnight. If you are unable to be home, we suggest you have the package sent to your workplace to ensure proper delivery. We can not assume responsibility for non-delivery on the part of FedEx for whatever reason they are unable to deliver, i.e. holidays, which are extremely busy and can delay delivery times. We will, however, try to help in any way possible to ensure you get our product. Please call us with any problems that involve FedEx.
FedEx will not deliver to PO Boxes.
We use FedEx Ground, FedEx Home Delivery and FedEx Express. We will attempt to contact FedEx for a customer who wants to claim damage, late delivery, and/or non-delivery and provide assistance in any way possible. However, these incidences rarely occur with FedEx as they are extremely reliable.
We use the FedEx Zone map in order to determine which service is used. We ship from our store in Pittsburgh, Pa.
Shipping Charges are determined by FedEx using 1) the weight of the package and, 2) the destination.
We send out FedEx Express, Home and Ground on Monday through Wednesday.
FedEx Ground will not deliver to businesses on Saturdays.
*For any orders received after 1pm Monday - Wednesday, please note the package will be sent the next available shipping day. If order is placed after 1pm on Wednesday, the order will typically ship the following Monday (unless there is a holiday).
