- All of our products are shipped fresh with the proper packaging in order to withstand the ship time to each destination.
All perishable food orders are final.
- We can not be held responsible for any package that is left outside of the recipient's address.
- We can not be held responsible if a package is delayed due to an address error that was entered by the purchaser.
- The recipient must be available at the end of the day of delivery to make certain the package is not left outside overnight. If you are unable to be home, we suggest you have the package sent to your workplace to ensure proper delivery.
- We can not assume responsibility for non-delivery on the part of FedEx for whatever reason they are unable to deliver, i.e. holidays, which are extremely busy and can delay delivery times. We will, however, try to help in any way possible to ensure you get our product. Please call us with any problems that involve FedEx.

We use FedEx Ground and FedEx Express in order to ensure our packages containing fresh or cooked products will not take longer than two days to be delivered. We will attempt to contact FedEx for a customer who wants to claim damage, late delivery, and/or non-delivery and provide assistance in any way possible. However, these incidences rarely occur with FedEx as they are extremely reliable.

We use the
FedEx Zone map in order to determine which service is used. We ship from our store in Pittsburgh, Pa and therefore any state that is outside of the
Red and
Blue Zones must use FedEx Express if they are purchasing Fresh or Cooked Products in order to ensure quality and freshness of the product. If you are only purchasing Dry-Cured Products or Prosciutto, then you have the option of choosing FedEx Ground or Express. Any recipient inside of the
Red and
Blue Zones will use FedEx Ground service.

- Shipping Charges are determined by FedEx using 1) the weight of the package and, 2) the destination.
- Handling Charges are determined by how large an order is. There is a $5 handling charge on most orders. Large orders can be up to $10 in handling charges. We take into account the 1) size of the box and, 2) how many ice packs are needed.

When your order is packaged and ready to be sent, we supply the email address given with the order to FedEx. You will then receive an email confirmation of shipment and links to track your package from FedEx. If you do not receive an email from FedEx, please call us to obtain your tracking number and follow this link to proceed to track your package. Fill out the necessary information at
www.FedEx.com

As soon as we receive your order, we will send an email confirmation of when to expect your package and when your credit card will be billed. If you do not receive an email confirmation within 24 hours Monday - Saturday, please email us at

We send out FedEx Express and Ground (with destinations in Blue Zone) on Monday - Wednesday. We send out FedEx Ground packages, with residential destinations in the Red Zone Monday - Thursday (FedEx Ground will not deliver to businesses on Saturdays).
- *For any orders received after 1pm Monday - Thursday, please note the package will be sent the next available shipping day.

We ask that our FedEx Ground customers place their orders for fresh products 10 days BEFORE Christmas; we will not ship any fresh product GROUND after that time period due to the extremely high volume of shipments that time of year which can delay your package, causing it to perish (FedEx may sometimes be running 24 - 48 hours behind schedule, but this is only applies to the Holiday season - every other time of year FedEx is reliable for delivery as specified per the
FedEx Zone Map).
As always, you will have the option of sending fresh products FedEx 2-Day Express to ensure delivery up until the Monday of the week of Christmas.
